UTEC
The Royal Institute of British Architects RIBA rewards the best of architecture globally. The winner of the best building in the world this year was the UTEC - University of Engineering and Technology campus, located in Barranco, Lima. This structure was created by Grafton Architects in collaboration with Shell Arquitectos. While working on Brandlab Studio we created a navigation system that helps to easily locate classrooms, offices, laboratories and meeting spaces, taking into account the open and intricate design of the building. The graphic system was based on points and lines that represent the stops and connections that allow us to understand the route. In addition, we detected strategic points where the brand could communicate with its users, creating a series of messages throughout the campus, always inspiring its students to put their wits into action.
